Aaron Michael Tuenge, 36, of North Platte, NE passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Aaron was born on March 3, 1988 in North Platte, NE to Michael Tuenge and Shirley (Mitchell) Tuenge.  He grew up in Sutherland and North Platte.  Aaron graduated with the North Platte High School class of 2006.  He attended Southeast Community College Lincoln Campus.  He then started his career in the HVAC business in Colorado, while there he held membership with "SMART" a sheet metal workers union.  Aaron worked for several HVAC companies in Lincoln and North Platte and was proud of being a mentor to some of the new start-ups.

Most of all Aaron had a "heart of gold" was very compassionate, caring, beautiful soul whom he could relate to others.  He also had that "kind of touch" with people and animals that was really liked and gave it back to many friends and family.  Aaron will always be remembered by his beautiful smile and kindness shown to others.

Aaron was predeceased by his grandparents, Carl "Bud" and Mary Tuenge, Shirley Miller, and uncle, Carl Tuenge.

He is survived by his parents, Michael Tuenge, Shirley Tuenge; sister, Megan (John) Nielsen; nieces, Adeline and Norah; many other family members and great friends he had met along life's journey.  We lost a special one.

A Celebration of Aaron's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. CST on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with Pastor Wade Hudson officiating.  The memorial book will be available to sign on Friday, December 13th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which has been entrusted with the arrangements.
