Ann J. Maline, 75, of North Platte, NE passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Great Plains Health Hospital with her husband Richard of 37 years by her side.

Ann was a hairdresser for many years, worked for the State of Nebraska, and worked for Walmart in the photo department retiring in 2009.  Ann liked working in the yard and tending to her many flower beds plus gardening.  She had a love for animals especially horses.  She will be greatly missed be all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Kimberly (Kim) Goldenstein; grandchildren, Corey and Cassy; stepdaughter and stepson, Melody (Chris) Lababit and Gustave (Tiffany) Maline; step-grandchildren, Jacob and Marissa; brothers, Larry (Lavone) Ruthruff and Greg (Linda) Ruthruff; stepsister, Vickey (Dean) Cuvelier; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Queenie Ruthruff, and stepmom, Mary.

Private burial will be held at Fort McPherson National Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the American Quarter Horse Association or to the American Cancer Society.

Carpenter Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
