Casey Allen Kerns, 34, of North Platte, NE passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family following a long illness.

He was born on September 28, 1988 in North Platte, NE the son of Allen Ray Kearns and Sandra Dee (Jeffres) Kerns.

Casey graduated from North Platte High School and worked for several years as a loader and operator with Western Engineering.  He most recently worked as a clerk for Kwik-Stop.

Casey is survived by a son, Justin Kerns; sister, Amanda (Steven) Peterson; brothers, Dominic Kerns and Monte Jeffres; and 3 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Allen; and by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned at this time.

Carpenter Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
