Cathy Ann Diaz, 71, of North Platte, NE passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at her daughter Linda's home in North Platte.  She was born on May 18, 1951 in Santa Monica, California the daughter of James Ray and Shirley Faye (Bright) Cordle.

Cathy was a devoted member of the Salvation Army and volunteered as a soldier for them.  She enjoyed listening to music and reading the bible every night.  Cathy was a kind soul who talked with everyone she met and tried to treat everyone with respect.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish Cathy's memory are her daughter, Linda Popham; son, Rob Sligar both of North Platte; grandchildren, Tylar and Ashley Popham, Jordan and Katlin Sligar; great-grandson, Jaxon Rosenberg; brother, Jim Cordle; and special nieces, Holly and Heather.

Services are private.  Arrangements have been entrusted with Carpenter Memorial Chapel.
