Charles S. Cochennet, 80, of North Platte, passed away August 8, 2013 at his home. He was born September 22, 1932 to Russell and Mildred (Long) Cochennet in Denver. Charles graduated from Lincoln High School. He was united in marriage to Marion Bezak. Charles was employed by Lincoln Office Equipment until moving to North Platte in 1990, then working for B & D Office Supply. He loved to golf, hunt, fish and bowl. He is survived by his wife, Marian of North Platte; three sons, Steve his wife JoAnn of Amarillo, TX, Greg his wife Suzy of Lincoln, and Glen and Ana Somers of Omaha; as well as two grandchildren, Ryan and Sara Cochennet. Contributions can be made to the Cancer Foundation. Funeral services will be 1:30 Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday with family receiving from 6 to 8 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel.
