Connie Sue Guerra, 65, of North Platte, NE, passed away unexpectedly on May 26, 2020 at Lincoln, NE. She was born on April 8, 1955 at North Platte, NE to Albert and Zeatha Bruce and she grew up in North Platte, NE.

She was united in marriage to Cecil Guerra on August 26, 1996 and the couple lived in North Platte. To this union, three daughters were born, Monica, Nikki and Erica. Connie enjoyed her grandchildren and nieces and nephews and they were her life. She also enjoyed her plants, flowers and her pets and listening and dancing to music.

Connie was a little stubborn and very hard headed but a very giving person. She also attended Saint Patrick's Catholic Church where she was baptized in 2005.

Survivors include her children, Nikki (Darby) Stevens, Erica Davis; stepchildren, Jennifer Bach, Mario (Olivia) Guerra, Vicki (Jerry Estrada), Bronson (Pixie) Guerra, Elizabeth (Alex) Tirado, Donna (Wes) Kohl, and Tracey Guerra; grandchildren, Raymon and Manuel Guerra, Aroque Bryant, Alexandria (Tanner) Malmkar, Alijah, Mariah, and Ashton Stevens, Jayden Blake, Madalen Davis and Arden Engleman; and 2 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Tom (Barb) Bruce, Elvina (William) Peck, Judith Davis, Stanley (Sue) Bruce, Kathy Bachtel, Norma (Dale) Knetter, Diane Battershell, Darrel Bruce, Bonnie (Don) Malcom, Sherry (Howie) Silverman and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Monica Sue Guerra in 2017; grandson, Alberto Urbina in 2000; husband, Cecil Guerra in 2013; Stepson, Michael Guerra in 2006 and a nephew, Kerry Bruce in 2017.

A Celebration of Life will be 11:00a.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with Pastor Gary Smith officiating.
