Cori Rae Schutz's Obituary
Cori (Arends) Schutz, 37, passed away Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014, in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born on May 24, 1977, to Ed and Deb (Phipps) Arends. Her childhood was largely spent in Elwood and she attended college in Kearney at the University of Nebraska. She married Anthony Schutz and they moved to Lincoln in 2000. She worked for Lincoln Public Schools. Cori and Anthony have three children: Angelina (born in 2002), Berlyn (born in 2004), and Celia (born in 2008).
Cori's paternal grandparents died before her. She survives everyone reading this, including too many family members to list.
Visitation will be Friday, July 25th at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elwood, Nebraska, from 4-8 PM. Private services will be held. A memorial has been established in her memory. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested.
We will also celebrate Cori's life this fall on a football Saturday, Cori would have preferred that. Plans will be forthcoming.
