Obituary

Dale L. Greeley, 64, of North Platte, passed away Nov. 30, 2015 in North Platte. He was born May 14, 1951 to Delbert and Dorothy (Pebley) Greeley at North Platte. He graduated from North Platte High School in 1970. He married Patricia Dean and to that union was a son James. Dale served in the United States Navy from 1975 to 1978. On June 26, 1980 he was united in marriage to Linda West at the North Platte Berean Church. He worked as a mechanic in Cheyenne, WY and North Platte before owning and operating his own trucking company. He is survived by his wife, Linda of North Platte; a son, James Greeley-Evans; his father, Delbert T. Greeley; sister-in-law, Kathy Greeley; brother-in-law, Mike Scott; nieces and nephews, Joshua Greeley, Heather (Greg) Smolik, Dezarae Greeley, Annabelle Smolik, Liberty Greeley, Todd Roberts, Dawn (Clint) Briesh, Shawn Scott and Cody Scott; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy; a brother, William "Dee"; and a sister, Kathy Scott. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com. Inurnment graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016 at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell with Chaplain Gary Smith officiating and military honors by the North Platte Veterans Organizations.
