Debra Lee Massey, 61, of North Platte, NE passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at her home in Premier Estates.

Deb was born on November 6, 1962 in Albuquerque, NM the daughter of Douglas Steward and Lillian Louise (Carpenter) Taylor.

Deb loved her birds and especially her pet dog "Abby".  She enjoyed collecting and listening to old vinyl records, watching scarry movies, eating nachos, and drinking coffee and Pepsi.  Her favorite time of year was the holidays, especially Christmas time during the opening of gifts.  She was dearly loved by everyone who knew her, and especially enjoyed time with her special niece, Niki.

Left to cherish Deb's memory are her children, Brenda Lee Massey and Christopher Massey; sister, Nicole Moore; special nieces and nephew, Niki Collins, Hailey Pickett, Ron Taylor, and Robert Schuster; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Sally Ann McIllhargey, Ronald Douglas Taylor, and Alice Grace Madden.

Private family services and a celebration of Debra's life will be held at a later date.  Cremation was chosen.  Carpenter Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
