Diane Lynne Scollin, 67 of North Platte, NE went to be home with her Lord on November 16, 2023 after a short and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born to Bernie and Lois Derby at Millard, Nebraska on July 26, 1956.

In January of 1972 the family moved to North Platte and Diane graduated from North Platte High School in 1974 and then attended Mid Plains Community College. In April of 1984 she married her soul mate Jim Scollin from Paxton. Diane worked for NPPD at Gerald Gentleman Station from 1980 until 1994. In 1994 she partnered with Allen Miles at Alive Outside until her retirement.

Diane loved to quilt, cruise and travel. Her passion was spending time with her grand children as often as possible.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; in laws; Eugene and Marie Scollin; a sister- in- law and brother- in- law, Jean and Leroy Follis; and a nephew Adam TenEyck.

Survived to cherish memories are her loving husband Jim; her children Royce of Syracuse, NE, Chris (Meridith) of Lakewood, CO, Josh ( Casey) of Ramona, CA, Randa ( Brett ) of Shelton, NE; grandchildren, Wyatt, Faith, Luke, Emera, Evan, Daniel, Isabella; her siblings, Scott (Mary) Derby of Omaha, NE, Dixie (Ken) TenEyck of Omaha, NE, Cheryl (Terry) Schaeffer of Springfield, NE; numerous nieces and nephews;  special friends, Allen (Julie) Miles; and her little dog Cooper.

Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Deardoff officiating. Burial will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.  Visitation on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from noon until 7:00 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with family receiving friend from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00, p.m.   In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.
