Obituary
Donna was born on January 11th, 1951 in McCook, Nebraska, to Clyta Hrnchir (Davis) and Henry Hrnchir. She was born the 6th of 11 children.
Donna graduated from Atwood High School in 1969. She married Michael Lee Plourd on February 12th, 1972 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Lakewood, Colorado. They lived in Lakewood for five years and then moved to North Platte, where they made their permanent home. Donna pursued various interests such as, health and nutrition, and working with the elderly. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching soap operas.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Michael Lee Plourd; parents, Henry and Clyta Hrnchir; infant twin brother, Henry Junior; infant sister, Janice; brother-in-law, Chris Kefalas; and granddaughter, Sophia Walter.
Survivors include her three daughters, Tammy Tellier of Palm Coast, FL., Chrissy (Chad) Barnhardt of Lincoln, and Larissa (John) Walter of North Platte; six sisters, Sister Mary Jo Hrnchir of Omaha, NE; Kathy Kefalas of Austin, TX; Jane (Dale) Mitchem of McCook, NE; Patty Scarborough of Larad, KS; Zanetta (Jerry) Schnee of Topeka, KS; Zandra (Ron) Carmichael of Omaha, NE; two brothers, Robert (Cheryl) Hrnchir of Trenton, NE, Gene (Meredith) Hrnchir of Atwood, KS; two granddaughters, Danielle and Adysyn; two grandsons, Alexander and Camden.
A memorial has been established in her memory. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com. Cremation was chosen. Memorial graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell. Carpenter Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
