Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Barton, age 75, Formerly of North Platte, NE passed away on February 6, 2025 at Mother Hull Home in Kearney, NE.

She was born on September 22, 1949 in Hastings, NE daughter of Ivan "Bud" K. Barton and Martha "Marti" E. Barton.  She lived in Hastings, NE for 6 years, then moved to North Platte, NE for 20 years where she graduated high school in 1967 and attended the University of Kearney, graduating with a RN nursing degree. Elizbeth worked at several hospitals in Kearney as one of the floor nurses and Emergency room RN's, and worked numerous years at the Buffalo County Sherrif's Office handling the medical/RN operation, and retired from there.

Elizabeth loved all kinds of wildlife especially her dogs and cats and her quarter horses, was exceptional at finding and documenting the Barton family genealogy. She was involved with the breeding process of World Champion Bau Bonanza in Kearney, NE. And was an avid photographer of wildlife and her animals. She enjoyed the outdoors and her cottage looking down at the Platte valley east of Kearney, Ne prior to be administered to Mother Hull Home.

Those left to cherish her memory are brother; Charles "Chuck" Barton of Westminster, CO; nephews, Cody K. and Colt N. Barton of Westminster, CO; and great nephew, Eligh "Eli" K. Barton of Westminster, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens at 2 PM. Carpenter Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
