Obituary
Esther L. (Walker) Sellers, age 91 of Maywood, passed away August 18, 2016 at Great Plains Health. She was born November 11, 1924 at Thornberg, NE to Raymond and Mae (Ruppert) Walker. Esther lived most of her life in the Wellfleet and Maywood area. She was united in marriage to Lawrence "Mutt" Sellers on May 18, 1946. To this union five children were born. She worked as a cook at the Maywood Public School for more than 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Lawerence, sister; Veda (Loren) Baxter, nephew; Duane Owens, sister and brother in-laws; Lois (Loren) Hall, Vernon (Shirley) Sellers, Ercil (Vera) Sellers, Harrison (Marion) Sellers, Donna Coykendall, and Stanley Sellers, son-in-law; James Kummer, daughter-in-law; Stacy Sellers, and granddaughter; Stacy Sellers. Survivors include her sons; Wayne (Colleen) Sellers of Curtis, Lynn (Cindy) Sellers of O'Neill, NE, Paul Sellers of McCook, and Bruce Sellers of Ft. Collins, CO, and daughter; Sharon Kummer of McCook, sister; Ardell Wilkie, brother and sister-in-law; Orval Coykendall and Devona Sellers, many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2016 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the Curtis-Maywood EMT'S
