Fred Arthur Baugher, 73, of Stockville, NE passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Denver, CO.

He was born on February 27, 1947 at Sandwich, IL to Harriet and Russel Baugher. Fred grew up in Marseilles, IL and spent most of his life being a collector and building outhouses as well as about 70 banks throughout CO, KS and NE in his lifetime.

He served in the United States Army doing a tour in Korea from February 24, 1967 and was honorably discharged on September 27, 1968.

Fred is survived by his siblings, John Baugher of Marseilles, IL, Theresa Rose of Tyler, TX, James Baugher of Greenville, SC, David Baugher of Baytown, TX, Ruth Higby of Washington, MO, and Gerald Baugher of Thompsville, IL; numerous nieces and nephews; longtime friend, Jan Laux and Benny Lashley; his poodle, Inky; and many other friends.

Graveside Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 2, 2020 at Fort McPherson National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Book signing will be 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Friday, October 2, 2020.

Memorials may be made to the family for later designation. Services will be held following all current health directives regarding Covid-19. The service will be streamed via Carpenter Memorial Chapel's Facebook page for those that cannot attend. Carpenter Memorial Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
