German N. Quemè, age 56, of North Platte, passed away on February 7, 2025, at Great Plains Health.  He was born to Anna Miriam Romero on November 10, 1968, in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.

German was united in marriage to his lifetime sweetheart, Patty Quemè, in February of 2013 at the Lincoln County Courthouse.  The couple pastored at the Dios es Amor Church in North Platte for several years and German worked for the Walmart Distribution Center for an extended period.

German was a humble and selfless man and will be missed by his brothers and sisters in Faith of North Platte, his many friends and family in Nebraska, as well as his family in Guatemala.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 3 PM at Dios es Amor Church, 510 N. Jeffers, with Pastor Santos Ordoñes officiating.  Visitation with family present will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 12 PM to 4 PM at Carpenter Memorial Chapel. German will be laid to rest with his beloved Patty in Guatemala.  Carpenter Memorial Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
