Obituary

Gladys "Millie" Mann reached the end of her wonderful life, peacefully in her sleep on January 15, 2025, at the age of 73 years old.

She was born in Pequannock, NJ, on April 2, 1951, and was raised in Ringwood, NJ until she met her husband, Silas Mann.  They had their daughter, Nicole Mann, and moved to upstate New York.

Millie was a hardworking woman who worked until she was 70 years old when she first became ill.  She spent her entire life being a caregiver and was willing to help anyone in need of anything, tirelessly.  She loved getting dressed up in her high heels, putting some lipstick on, and going to the Ramada Inn with her best friend, to go dancing on the town on her free weekends.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.  She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Milligan and her wife, Mary Milligan; grandchildren, Jade Tyree, Kristle Soles, Timothy Rust, Savannaha Milligan, Keagan Milligan, Alexander Milligan, Bryson Milligan, and Sophia Milligan; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Tyree and William Tyree; sister, Cheryine VanDunk; brothers, Howard Milligan and Monte Milligan; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Millie was predeceased by her husband, Silas Mann; her parents, Lorraine and John Milligan; sister, Linda Degroat, Janet VanDunk, Deneen Milligan, Crystal Milligan, and Jacqueline Milligan; brothers, Rodney Milligan, Perry VanDunk, Aaron Milligan, and Scott Milligan.

Millie's wishes were to not have any services or memorials as this was something that she did not want.  She wanted to go peacefully and quietly and her family is abiding by her final wish.
