Grace L. Kaiser

Grace L. Kaiser, 92, of North Platte, passed away, Sept. 19, 2013 at Great Plains Regional Medical Center. She was born April 26, 1921 to Christ J. and Alma (Nelson) Lee at Sauk Center, MN. The family moved to Fergus Falls, MN when she was 11 months old, where she graduated from High School in 1939 and resided there until 1943. She was united in marriage to Louis G. Kaiser on Aug. 12, 1944 at Huntington Park, CA. They met and married while Louis was in the service and they moved to North Platte after his discharge. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Grace is survived by two daughters, Karolyn (Dean) Interholzinger and Diana (Craig Phelps) Berglund, both of North Platte; a son, Kenneth (Donna Easton) of Bayside, TX; seven grandchildren, Randy (Heather) Interholzinger, Kenna (Scott) Hill, Kira (Troy) Garrels, Christopher (Lori Gilliand) Berglund, Keagan Kaiser, Makaelah Kaiser and Mariah (Ray Cruz) Kaiser ; nine great grandchildren, Christian Interholzinger, Micheal, Cory, Casey, Tyler and Trevor Hill, Ali Garrels, and Adelaide and Dahlia Cruz; nieces; nephews; and Brenda Heracleous. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; an infant son and daughter; brothers, Maynard, Vernon, Gerald and Ray Lee, and a sister, Alice Brewster. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
