Obituary

Iva T. Houpt, 69, of North Platte, passed away June 18, 2018 at Centennial Park Retirement Village.  She was born August 2, 1948 to Ivan and Frances (Wells) Popham at North Platte.
She grew up in North Platte.  On May 23, 1975, she was united in marriage to Edwin Houpt.  They had one daughter, Staci.
Iva loved to paint, crochet, read and photography.  She spent her last five years living at Centennial Park.   She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and the staff at Centennial Park Retirement Village.
She is survived by her daughter, Staci (Shawn Kerns) Houpt of McCook and her grandson, Tate, who she absolutely loved spending time with and wanting everyone to meet him when he would visit Grandma.
Iva was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Edwin in 2011.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Brenda Lee officiating.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in care of arrangements.
