Obituary
James F. DeCent, 50, of Paxton, passed away June 30, 2012 at Sutherland Reservoir.
He was born June 15, 1962 to James and Emily DeCent in North Platte. He is survived by his son, Christopher DeCent of Tennessee, and a daughter, Summer Woodward of North Platte. Also survived by his brothers and sisters, Jack (Vickie) DeCent of Hershey, Lloyd T. DeCent of North Platte, Vivian (Kevin) Pitre of Sutherland, Joyce (Peary) Thompson of Sioux City, IA; David DeCent of Omaha, Brenda Hansen of Sutherland, Danny DeCent of North Platte, Mark DeCent of Hershey, Robert (Peggy) DeCent of Sutherland, Barb Barraclough of Wyoming, Rich DeCent of Hershey. Five grandchildren, Orlando, Arnold, Zane, Cameron & Zander and many, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael DeCent.
Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 6th, 2012 at Harvest Christian Church. Those wishing to sign the register book may do so at Carpenter Memorial Chapel on Thursday from 8:30 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday 8:30 to 3:00 p.m., which is in charge of arrangements. Cremation will follow services.
