Joey K. Loveland, 91, passed away October 16, 2012 at Linden Court. She was born July 5, 1921 to Charles T. and Ima Yanagida in North Platte, Nebraska. Joey was a 1939 graduate of Platte Valley District 8. She attended and graduated at Grand Island Beauty Academy in 1941. Joey was a Cosmetologist for 60 years and owner of Fox and Joey's Beauty Salons and North Platte Beauty Academy. She was a member of Episcopal Church of Our Savior. Survivor's include her sister, Susie (Bud) Kudlacek of North Platte; brothers, Bill Yanagida of Fernley, NV.; Roy Yanagida of Lincoln, NE., and nephews, nieces and grand nephews & nieces. Preceding her in death were her husband, Jerry Loveland in 1980, her parents and brother, Gene Yanagida. Cremation was chosen. Memorial services will be Monday, October 22, at 11:00 a.m. at Episcopal Church of Our Savior.
