Joyce Maxine (Wilson) Wuehler Green, 89, of North Platte, NE, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at North Platte Care Center.

She was born on July 18, 1932 at Elm Creek, NE daughter of Virgil E. and Mildred M. (Franks) Wilson.

Joyce spent her childhood and early years growing up in the Elm Creek, NE area and attended Elm Creek High School.  She married Harold Lee Wuehler in 1950, and farmed for eleven years northeast of Amhurst, NE until Harold's untimely passing in 1962.  In 1964 she married Bernard L. Green and moved to North Platte, NE.  Following Bernard's retirement from the railroad they moved to a farm southwest of Hershey, NE, and then moved back to North Platte in 1994.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Virgil and Mildred; 1 ^st husband, Harold Wuehler; 2 ^nd husband, Bernard Green; granddaughter, Sarah Hernandez, grandson, Rudy Hernandez; step-son, Douglas Green; and brothers, Billy and Gerald Wilson.

She is survived by children, Carol A. (Leroy) Hernandez of Hershey, Richard L. (Micaela) Wuehler of North Platte, Michael R. Wuehler of North Platte, Steven H. Wuehler of North Platte, Allan R. Green of Madison, Gregory C. (Jan) Green of Omaha and Kevin M. (Joann) Green of Minatare; step-children, Larry B. (Lyne) Green of Grove, OK, Roger G. Green of FL; step-daughter-in-law, Charlene Green of Fayetteville, AR;  grandchildren, Scott (Jessica) Hernandez, Tom (Amanda) Wuehler and Patrick Wuehler, Troy (fiancée) Green; step-grandchildren, Kelly Pocock, Cindy Green, Amy Smith, Lee Green, Christopher Green, Roger Green, Jr., and Everett Green; brother, Wayne E. (Sheri) Wilson of Kearney; and numerous great-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with Pastor Anne Durboraw officiating.  Burial will follow in LaMont Cemetery near Hershey.
