Joyce E. Piskorski, 81, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away at Great Plains Health on Sunday, November 23, 2025.
She was born to Robert and Roberta (Roberts) Drullinger of Chadron, Nebraska, where she was raised and graduated from Chadron High School in 1962.
She married Robert Buck and the couple moved to North Platte in 1964 where she worked as a book keeper. In 1973 she married Phillip Berg until his death in 1982. As a widowed mother, she worked hard raising her boys and supporting their sporting events. She married Martin Piskorski in 1988 and went on to earn her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and began her career as a professional Christian counselor.
Her family, especially her grandchildren, were very dear to her and a source of great pride. She also enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends, and participating in Bible Study and activities at Bethel Evangelical Free Church along with supporting Debra's Legacy. Joyce was also well known for speaking at many Christian Woman's Club and other events around the state.
She is survived by her husband Martin Piskorski of North Platte, NE; children Larry (Julie) Buck of Southern Pines, NC and Jeff Buck of Leavenworth, KS; grandchildren Ayla (Evan) Rivera of Southern Pines, NC, James (Rebecca) Buck of Charlotte, NC, Trevor Buck of Lake Ozark, MO, and Cody Buck of Lake Ozark, MO; great-granddaughter Sarah Buck of Charlotte, NC; siblings David Drullinger of South Africa and Darrell (Leann) Drullinger of North Platte, NE; Martin's children Cynthia (Michael) Dunbar, Michael (Renee) Piskorski, Teresa (Martin) Mischke, Anne Miller, Martina Piskorski, and Lisa Piskorski; and Donnie (Michelle) Berg of Ponca, NE.
Memorial Services will be at 12pm on Thursday, December 4th at Bethel Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Geoff Stafford officiating. Visitation will be at Carpenter Memorial Chapel from Noon until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3rd, with family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Debra's Legacy. Carpenter Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
