Obituary
Kenneth Eugene Blake, 63, of North Platte, passed away July 5, 2014 at his home. He was born March 15, 1951 to Marvin and Ethelda (Carr) Blake at Ainsworth, NE. He graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1970 and then attended Mid-Plains Community College. On May 12, 1973, he was united in marriage to Joleen Barner in Stapleton. He worked in feedlots in various communities in the Sandhills. Kenneth loved spending time with his grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Joleen Blake; a daughter, Allyson (Mark) Dennis; a son, Casey Blake all of North Platte; a brother, Kevin (Kendy) Blake of Ainsworth; seven grandchildren and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com. A memorial has been established in his memory. Cremation was chosen. Private family services will be held at a later date. Carpenter Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
