Lloyd J Brauer , 81, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Centennial Park Retirement Village, North Platte, Nebraska.  Lloyd was born on September 1, 1937 in Sidney, Nebraska, the son of Emanuel and Anna (Moeller) Brauer.

He graduated high school from Sidney, Nebraska.  He married Mary Jo Luxa in Lodgepole, Nebraska on October 3, 1959.  She survives.  He is also survived by their children Bryan (Jolene) of Holton, Kansas; Trevia (Scott) Bussell of Imperial, Nebraska; Anna (Chris) Kendall of Scranton, Kansas; and Brad (Denise) of North Platte; one brother Roland (Pat) of Bennington, Nebraska; grandchildren, Jessica Brauer, Nicole (Jonathon Wilson) Brauer, Justin (Marissa) Bussell, Kylee (Cody) DeWester, Amanda Kendall, Mikayla Brauer,  Brin  (Ricky Martin) Brauer and  great grandchildren, Zaiden Bussell,  Cale and Cason  DeWester.  He was predeceased by six siblings William, Alvin, Vern, Betty, Lucille, and Elnora and by four grandsons Dustin Bussell, Matthew Brauer, and twins Curtis and Cody Brauer.

A private service will be held at a later date. Cremation has been chosen.  Memorial contributions to Centennial Park Retirement Village and cards of condolences for the family may be sent in care of the funeral home.
