Lois M. Sittner, 93, of North Platte, passed away December 2, 2019 at Great Plains Health.  She was born August 8, 1926 to Glen L. and Helen D. (Smith) Marlatt at Torrington, WY.

On January 12, 1947, she was united in marriage to Ed Sittner at Lyman, NE.

Lois was employed at various places throughout her lifetime, including when she was younger and most women didn't work outside of the home.  She was a clerk at Emmitt's Grocery and Kelly's Superette, a secretary at Stoddard Ins. and McBrayer Ins., a clerk at Bi-Rite Drug Store and Hallmark, Lois also sold advertising for a radio station.  Lois and Ed also owned and operated Sittner Manufacturing.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Jo Smith of North Platte and Susan Sittner (Tim) Calhoon of Henderson, N.V.; grandchildren, Lori (John) Dancer, Chris (fiancé Jaime) Smith and Joshua (Shannon Horton) Smith; great grandchildren, Dakota (Maddie) Dancer, Brinlee Smith and Owen Garrett; two sisters, Shirley (Jerry) Russell and Marian Sittner; two brothers, George Marlatt and Gordon Marlatt; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Margaret Fleenor; and a nephew, Jeff Marlatt.
