Obituary

Lucille P. Ritz, age 95 of North Platte, passed away March 16, 2016 at Great Plains Health with her son by her side. She was born March 28, 1920 at Edison, NE to Harvey and Lena (Bard) Stump. On July 11, 1941 Lucille was united in marriage to Earl Ritz at Norton, KS. She worked at the Lincoln County Treasurer's Department of Motor Vehicles for 28 years. She was a member of the 1st Christian Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Lucille loved to travel and playing cards with her friends. She is survived by her son; Jeff (Dotty) Ritz of Omaha, four step-grandchildren; Julie (Shawn) Clark, Tina (Mike) Gillain, Sherry (Ryan) Cable, and Lowell (Jasmine) Heller, seven step-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Earl, daughter; Jeri Lynn, two brothers, Floyd and Allen Stump; a sister, Wilma Keller; and special friend; Ed Purcell. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Monday, March 21, 2016 at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family receiving friends will be from 10am to noon on Monday.
