Michael "Mike" Richard Musolf, Sr., 60, of North Platte, NE passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at his home.  Mike was born on March 2, 1964 in Oshkosh, NE the son of Richard Adolf Musolf and Ellen Ruth (Eaton) Musolf.

Mike graduated from North Platte High School and worked as an HVAC technician for most of his career with several HVAC companies in the area.  He married Rhonda J. Leiser on May 28, 1994 in Port Orchard, Washington.  Mike was an avid car enthusiast and especially enjoyed working on his Ford Mustangs and tinkering in the garage.  He also enjoyed his Harley motorcycle and looked forward each year to his annual motorcycle trip.  He was an avid Husker fan and enjoyed fishing, camping, and woodworking.  Most important to Mike was his love of family, especially being a grandpa to his grandchildren and great grandchild.

He was predeceased by his father, Richard; son, Corey Michael Musolf; stepfather, Reid Warath; mother-in-law, Evelyn Markham; and stepmother in law, Sharon Leiser.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; mother, Ellen Warath of North Platte; children, Emily LaPoint (Rudolph) of Ohio, Tiffany Shonerd (Michael) of Friend; Tasha Oltman of York, Michael Musolf, Jr. (Cheyenne) of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Matthew Musolf of CO, Kelsey Leiser of North Platte, Autumn Musolf of Maxwell, and Madison Musolf of North Platte; grandchildren, Michael, Derrick, Christopher, Zebadiah, Zayne, Zoe, Hannah, Amera, Shawn, Owen, Adalee, Gracean, Emma, Lyle, Castin, Jonathen, Riley, Braydon, Matthew, Liam, Aries, Trevyn, Forrest, Delaney, Urijah, and Everly; great granddaughter, Hayes; brothers, Steven Daily and Randy Daily (Tammy) both of North Platte; father in law, Ronald Leiser of North Platte; step siblings, Glen Warath of Utah, Matthew Peterson of WI, and Angela Horton of Stapleton; and several nieces and nephews.  He is also remembered and survived by his beloved dogs, Willow, Freckles, Cecil, and Luna.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jean Anderson officiating.  Carpenter Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.  Burial will be held at a later date in the Oshkosh Cemetery.
