In Loving Memory of Nancy Marie Durham (Quick).

Nancy Marie Durham aged 61, of North Platte, Nebraska, passed away on November 22, 2025, at Great Plains Health Hospital. Born on December 20, 1963 in Los Angeles, California, she was the beloved daughter of James Quick and Charlene Meyer Karschner and a cherished sister to Barbara Pedersen of Pampa, Texas, Carol Erbele of Radcliff, Kentucky, Suzanne Quick of Fort Collins, Colorado, Danny Quick of Prescott, Arizona, and Dianna Quick of Cripple Creek, Colorado.

Nancy moved to Mount Shasta, California in the early 1980s where she worked as a surgical technician and later received her LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse). She then moved to Pampa, Texas for a short period.

In the Spring of 2022, she moved to North Platte, to be closer to her niece Amy Helms and Amy's family.  She loved spending time with Amy's children playing games and watching movies.

Nancy was known for her quirky sense of humor, her interest in watching documentary and research shows, and her love of animals.  She touched the lives of everyone she met.

She is survived by her siblings, Barbara, Carol, Suzanne, Danny and Dianna, and preceded in death by her father, James Quick, her mother, Charlene Meyer Karschner and her son, Stephen Nassivera. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Nancy has requested that she be cremated and her ashes along with her son, Stephen's, be scattered in the ocean in California.

Carpenter Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
