Obituary
Rebecca "Jayne" Carsten Payne, 43 of North Platte, went home to be with her Lord August 8, 2014. She was born October 11, 1970 to Carroll and Kathleen (White) Carsten in North Platte. Rebecca graduated from Hershey High School in 1989 and was involved in various sports. She later graduated from Xenon School of Hair Design in Omaha and worked as a beautician for a number of years. Rebecca married Mike Miller in 1990 and later was united in marriage to Robert A. Payne on March 2, 2006. She attended Grace Community Bible Church. Survivors include her parents, Carroll and Kathleen Carsten of North Platte; daughter, Jessica (Hobie) Vogt of Crete; son, Joshua Payne of Lincoln; brother, Stewart (Barbie) Carsten of Sutherland; nephews, Calvin and Collin Carsten; step-children, Robert (Kim) Payne and Kirk (Rebecca Hansen) Payne; step-grandchildren, Brigett, Turner, Tianna, and Kaylee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert on February 17, 2014. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Monday, August 11, 2014 at Grace Community Bible Church with Pastor Mike Wing officiating. Those wishing to sign her memorial book may do so from 1 to 5 pm Sunday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel.
