Obituary for Ricco Anthony Maldonado

Ricco Anthony Maldonado, 45, of North Platte, NE, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at his home.  He was born on March 19, 1976 in North Platte, son of Debbie Maldonado-Radcliffe.

Ricco was his Senior Class President, and graduated with honors from St. Patrick's High School in 1994.  He then graduated with an Associate degree from Mid-Plains Community College in business and finance.  He attended St. Patrick's Catholic Church in North Platte.  He enjoyed playing golf, watching NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon, football and camping.  Ricco was very outgoing and never knew a stranger, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving him are his mother, Debbie Maldonado-Radcliffe and step-father, Jesse Radcliffe of Kearney; spouse, Karen Maldonado of North Platte; children, Ricco Maldonado, Jr., Kaitlyn and Alexis; sister, Samantha Maldonado; and nephews, Jay Tiedje and Chase Stoddard.

He was predeceased by his great-grandma, Patricia Vieyra; grandma, Connie Elwood; and great-great-grandparents, Edward and Maria Hernandez.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Rev. Vidya Sagar Arikotla as celebrant.  Burial will follow in North Platte Cemetery.  The memorial book will be available to sign on Thursday, February 17 ^th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel which has been entrusted with the arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.  Online condolences and sharing of memories may be expressed to the family at www.carpentermemorial.com
