Richard J. "Bud" Dimmitt, 75, of Gandy, died February 13, 2019 at Great Plains Health. He was born June 13, 1943 to Otis J. and Alice (Brassier) Dimmitt at Broken Bow. He attended school in Crofton.

He was united in marriage to Sharon Rose McIntosh on June 14, 1963 in Mullen, where Bud worked at Big Creek Ranch. They moved to Gandy in 1971 and he continued to farm  and ranch in Logan County.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ed Dimmitt and sisters, Linda Eaves and Donneita Beed.

Bud  is survived by his wife, Sharon of  Gandy; a son, Dale Dimmitt of  North Platte; a daughter, Robin (John) Myers of  North Platte; grandchildren, Kim, Dustin (Corrine), Bo (Ali), and Devin ; great grandchildren, Austin, Preslee and Dace; a brother, Gary Dimmitt of North Platte.
