Ronda Lynette Livingston, 65, of North Platte, NE passed away to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Great Plains Health Hospital.
She was born on November 7, 1958 in North Platte the daughter of Raymond and Iva Joyce (White) Eyten. Ronda grew up in North Platte attending school and graduated from North Platte high school in 1977. She spent 32 years with the North Platte police department as an administrative assistant, retiring in 2021. She married the love of her life, Dwight Livingston on May 9, 1999 in Las Vegas, NV. Ronda enjoyed bible study, playing pickleball, swimming, crafting at the Prairie Arts Center, as well as crocheting blankets. Most of all she loved her husband, children, and spending time with her 12 grandchildren.
Left to cherish Ronda's memory are her husband, Dwight; children, Trisha (Matt) Jorgensen of North Platte, Matthew (Erica) Hagert of Albertville, MN, Brian Livingston of Omaha, Karie (Lester) Sheets of North Platte; daughter in law, Tiffany Livingston of LaVista; mother-in-law, Gloria Livingston of North Platte; grandchildren, Justin, Jace, Ellyana, Brelynn, Dustin, Carter, Emma, Lily, Lillian, Peyton, Camron, and Jaylee; sister, Alice (Steve) Paul; brothers, John (Lisa) Eyten, and Clay (Melissa) Applegarth; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Iva; son, Scott Livingston; and brother, Russell Eyten.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Bethel Church with Pastor Geoff Safford officiating. Burial will follow at Fort McPherson National Veterans Cemetery, near Maxwell, with a dinner at Bethel Church fellowship hall to follow. Visitation with the family receiving friends will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20th at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
