Obituary

Rosemarie G. Cooper, 88, of North Platte passed away April 1, 2013 at her home. Rosemarie was born January 22, 1925 in Aaechen, Germany. Rosemarie moved to the United States in the early 1940's where she met George Cooper. They married August 8, 1954 and moved to North Platte. She worked at Great Plains Regional Medical Center where she was head of the Histology Department. She enjoyed making crafts, especially Christmas ornaments. She is survived by her son, Paul Cooper; daughter's, Heidi Cooper, and Michelle (Emerald) Miller. Eight grandchildren, Kyle (Anna) Johnson, Amy (Dominic) Rioux, Lisa and Katie Daniels, Casey and Kelby McNare and Zach and Michael Miller; six great-grandchildren and son-in-law, Carl McNare. Preceded in death by her mother, Anita Consten; daughter, Lori McNare; and sister Lore Kettler. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2013 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.. Cremation was chosen. Those wishing to sign the register book my do so from 9 - 5 on Tuesday through Thursday, at Carpenter Memorial Chapel.
