Ruby P. Nutter, 80, of North Platte, passed away August 12, 2013 at Great Plains Regional Medical Center. She was born January 30, 1933 at Denver, CO to Rupert A. and Zoe Marie (Mayberry) Loewenstein. Ruby graduated from Gibbon High School in 1951 and later that year was united in marriage to John Ronald Nutter on October 21, in Gibbon. She was a beautician while in Gibbon and after they moved to North Platte, she worked at Herbergers for a number of years. Ruby was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband John Nutter of North Platte, sons; Gregory (Denise) Nutter of Hershey and Michael Nutter of Hastings, five grandchildren; Dawn (James) Miller, Dustee (Randy) Renschler, Samantha, Chance, and Seth Nutter, eight great-grandchildren; Greggory, Samantha, Abbey, Dalton, Gaven, Oliver, Ruby, and Evangeline, brothers; Ralph Loewenstein and Elbert (Betty) Loewenstein both of Kearney, sister; Nancy Bolin of Gibbon, nieces, nephews and many friends. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in North Platte. Inurnment will be at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell, NE.
