Samuel "Sam" R. Kinsinger , 87, of North Platte, passed away March 14, 2019 at Centennial Park Retirement Village.  He was born May 31, 1931 to Theodore "Ted" Roosevelt and Charlotte "Lottie" (Krehmeyer) Kinsinger at Hayes Center, NE.

He married Donna Favinger Allen on August 7, 1950.  From this union four children were born.  He grew up in Wallace and later moved to Grant, where he was the parts manager at International Harvester and he was a volunteer fireman for many years.

On April 18, 1998, Sam married Sharon Parker.  Sam never new a stranger and he sold cars for Joe Dye Ford for 29 years.  He always enjoyed meeting new people and visiting with all his customers and friends.  He loved to go to auctions and find treasurers and he enjoyed to hunt and fish in his younger years.  When he was at the nursing home, he enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels outside his window.

He was a long time member of the Eagles and had many friends.

He is survived by his children, Sandy (John) Rowland, Joyce (Lee) McConahay, Samuel R. (Dawn) Kinsinger, Jr all of North Platte; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sharon on June 23, 2018; his son, Roger Kinsinger; and his sister, Doris Morey.

Delp officiating.  Burial will be the North Platte Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested the Eagles Lodge.  Visitation will be Sunday, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in care of arrangements.
