Obituary

Shannon Elizabeth Montgomery, 63, of North Platte, passed away April 8, 2018 at Great Plains Health.  She was born November 20, 1954 to Jay and Barbara (Farley) Beerman at North Platte.
Shannon attended North Platte High School and Mid-Plains Community College.  She later furthered her education at Texas Woman's College receiving a degree in counseling and psychology.  She served in the ministry for many years.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara of North Platte; a son, David (Brenda) Carter of Ft. Worth, TX; a daughter, Sara (Carlos) Fleury of Port Charlotte, FL; two brothers, Jay Beerman of Alma, NE and Randall Beerman of Tulsa, OK; and a granddaughter, Antonia.  She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Michael Shane Beerman.
Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com .  Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Victory Church of God, 3121 West A Street, North Platte, with the Pastor Walker Baird officiating.
