Sharon A. Brandt, 78, of North Platte, NE passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at home.

She was born on June 11, 1944 in O'Neill, NE the daughter of Helen Summers.  Sharon graduated from high school and worked for most of her career as a social worker with the NE Department of Health and Human Services.  On February 14, 1984 she married Randall "Randy" Brandt in Las Vegas, NV.  She loved spending time with family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Sharon's memory are her husband of 38 years, Randy; son, Scott (Malinda) Halsted of North Platte; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 step-granddaughter; sister, Beverly Worthen of WA; step-children, Tammy (Mike) Bundjer of AK and Rodney (Jennifer) Brandt of North Platte.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen; son, Bryan James Halsted; and by a sister, Patricia Wallace.

In honor of Sharon's wishes there will be no services or visitation.  Private inurnment will be held in the columbarium at Ft. McPherson National Veterans Cemetery near Maxwell.  Carpenter Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
