Sheila R. Wilson

Sheila R. Wilson, 61, of North Platte, passed away September 1, 2012 at her home. She was born July 12, 1951 to William E. and Billie J. (Warden) Griggs at Commerce, OK. On Dec. 14, 1968, she was united in marriage to Gerald Lee Wilson at Littleton, CO. Sheila was employed at Allen's Self Service, Taco John's and most recently at Wal-Mart. She is survived by her husband, Gerald of North Platte; two sons, Richard (Nina) Wilson and Josh Wilson both of North Platte; her mother, Billie of Colorado; sisters, Jackie Herrick, Pam Still both of Iowa, twin sister, Sandra Short, Donna Winger, Terry Kotowski all of Colorado; 11 grandchildren, Damian, Alisha, Deone, Dillion, Yorick, Shawn, Olivia, Zoey, Raven, Mia and Jayden; one great grandson, Leo; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Jimmy Wilson. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com. Cremation was chosen. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel. Memorial services will be 9:00 a.m. Friday at Apostolic Worship Center at 5th and Lincoln in North Platte. Inurnment will follow at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery. Carpenter Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
