Stanley C. Kemper, 90, life-long resident of North Platte, NE passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at North Platte Care Center surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 13, 1931 in North Platte the son of the late Curtis and Thelma (Hite) Kemper.

Stanley was a graduate of North Platte High School class of 1949.  He married Doris Mae Gamble on February 4, 1951 in North Platte and to that union 2 children were born.  He was a live-long farmer in the North Platte area.  He enjoyed square dancing with his wife Doris, and visits to Cody Park for ice cream.  Stanley also loved watching football, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Stanley's memory are daughter, Marilyn (Jerry) Jackman of York; son, Rodney (Connie) Kemper of North Platte; grandchildren, Becky Kemper of Omaha, Candi Powell (Ryan Sellers) of North Platte, and Justin (Abby) Kemper of Paxton, Chad (Tanya) Jackman of Lincoln and Geri (Mark) Bartholomew of Utica; special great-grandchildren, Trey, Cort, Graem and Juni; and several other great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Thelma; wife, Doris; and brother, Wayne Kemper.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Sexton officiating (family request casual attire).  Burial with follow in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 14 ^th from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which has been entrusted with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
